My part one can be found here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n Challenge #5 – What has improved in your life thanks to fandom<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I think this counts for a lot of people, but mainly having people to talk to. Finding like-minded people, some of which I’ve now ‘known’ for 20 years, which is basically an incredibly long penpal relationship. We’ve been through heartaches and joys together, both fandom wise (either related to the fandom or people involved in the fandom, there are a lot of people that are still missed to this day) and personal life, and it’s just… incredibly special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s difficult for me to talk to people, especially about stuff that I like. The internet and fandom has definitely made my life better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And, of course, learning new skills.
